Hebrew Plurals
In the Old Testament, "God" is translated from "Elohim", a plural word but with singular verbs.

Ecclesiastes 12:1 literally, plural "Remember now your Creators".
Isaiah 6:8 "Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?"
Isaiah 54:5 literally, plural "Makers".
Unitarians argue that plurals are a "majestic plural", no more than a linguistic construct to express God's majesty, and don't indicate a plurality of God.

Titus 1:3; 2:10 Preaching was committed to Paul according to the commandment of "God our Saviour".
Titus 2:13 Should this be read as "(great God) and (Saviour Jesus Christ)", or as "(great God and Saviour) Jesus Christ"? The latter seems to fit the context better. Similar 2 Peter 1:1.
Hebrews 1 whole chapter shows how Jesus is better than the angels. Though Hebrews 1:4 is difficult, saying Jesus has "become" so much better than the angels.
Hebrews 1:8 But to the Son He says, quoting Psalm 45:6-7 "Your throne, O God, is forever and ever".
Hebrews 1:10-12 quotes Psalm 102:25-27 "You, Lord, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth…" and says it is referring to the Son.
1 John 5:20 (though the reading/meaning of this might be debatable) …we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.
Revelation 1:8 "I am the Alpha and the Omega" [the Lord [God], Almighty]; Revelation 1:10-20 Jesus says He is the Alpha and Omega.

1 John 1:2 …that eternal life that was with the Father…
Equal With the Father
Father Is Greater
The Father is greater than the Son in the sense of authority. Jesus places Himself under the authority of the Father.
Daniel 7:13-14 The Ancient of Days gives the Son of Man dominion, glory, a kingdom.
John 5:22 The Father has committed all judgment to the Son.
John 7:16-17; 12:49-50; 14:10,31; 17:8 Jesus didn't speak on His own authority, but the Father did the works.
John 14:28 "My Father is greater than I".
1 Corinthians 11:3; 15:24-28
Hebrews 5:5-10 Jesus was appointed as High Priest by the Father. He "learned obedience by the things which He suffered".
Angel of the Lord, but Not an Angel
The Old Testament talks about the "Angel of the Lord". KJV etc translators have capitalised it since the circumstances of the passage indicate this was God, not a created angel:
Genesis 16:7-11 Hagar.
Genesis 22:11-18 Abraham about to sacrifice Isaac.
Genesis 31:11 Jacob and Laban's flocks.
Genesis 32:22-32 describes Jacob wrestling with God (v.28). Hosea 12:3-6 says Jacob wrestled with God/"the Angel".
Genesis 48:15-16 Jacob's blessing on Ephraim and Manasseh.
Exodus 3 The Angel of the Lord appeared to Moses via the burning bush. The text equates "the Angel of the Lord [Yahweh]", God, and the Lord [Yahweh]. His presence made the ground holy.
Joshua 5:13-15; 6:1-7 The "commander of the army of the Lord", who Joshua worshipped, who told Joshua to take off his sandals because he stood on holy ground. Then the text calls him Yahweh. He's not specifically called "the Angel of the Lord" in this passage, but it seems the same in character as other "angel of the Lord" appearances.
Judges 2:1-5 Rebuke to Israel for not driving out the inhabitants of Canaan.
Judges 6:11-24 For Gideon. Judges 6:11-12 say "Angel of the Lord", but Judges 6:16 says "the Lord". Judges 6:22 It seems Gideon believed the A was God.
Judges 13 Samson's parents—Manoah and his unnamed wife. Judges 13:16 The "Angel of the Lord" told Samson's father Manoah that he would not eat his food; rather, Manoah should offer it as a burnt offering to the Lord. However, then in Judges 13:21-22 it says that Manoah and his wife believed they had seen God. So if they were correct, the Angel of the Lord is not just an angel, but God.
Malachi 3:1-5 Prophecy of the coming of the "Messenger of the covenant". Same Hebrew word translated angel or messenger.
Acts 7:38 Moses spoke with the Angel on Mount Sinai.
The Hebrew word translated "angel" can also mean "messenger". This is consistent with Jesus Christ being the "Word of God", the divine messenger, the mediator between God and humanity.
Greater Than the Angels
Hebrews 1:4-14
Hebrews 1:6 The angels should worship Him.
Existed Before Human Birth
In Christology this is known as the "pre-existence" of Jesus.
Joshua 5:13-15 The mysterious "commander of the army of the Lord" whom Joshua worshipped, who told Joshua that he was standing on holy ground.
John 1:1-2 Existed "in the beginning" with God.
John 1:3 As creator—all things being made through Him—Jesus must have existed before His human birth.
John 1:14 "the Word became flesh and dwelt among us". Implies the Word was pre-existent and underwent a transformation.
John 1:15 John said of the Word, "He was before me"—even though He was born after John.
John 3:13,31 The Son of Man came down from heaven.
John 6:33,38,41-42,50-51,58 He who gives life to the world—the bread of life—came down from heaven. Jesus said He is the one who came down from heaven.
John 6:62 "What then if you should see the Son of Man ascend where He was before?"
John 8:57-58 "…before Abraham was, I AM."
John 17:5,20-24 Existed with the Father "before the world was".
1 Corinthians 10:4 Christ was the Rock that travelled with Israel, from which they ate and drank spiritual food.
Philippians 2:5-11 implies Jesus relinquished His power and godly form to become a human.
Hebrews 1:10-12 quotes Psalm 102:25-27 "You, Lord, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth…" and says it is referring to the Son. The psalm's Hebrew text doesn't say "Lord" though, but in v.24 "El" ("God"), which is intriguing. Earlier in the psalm in v.1 and v.12 it does say "You, Lord".
Less-clear scriptures that are quoted:
Matthew 23:37; Luke 13:34 An obscure allusion to His pre-existence. (But maybe it could be argued, it meant during His human life.)
John 6:46 Jesus implies He is from God and has seen the Father.
John 6:57 The living Father sent Jesus.
John 8:23 "from above"; "not of this world"
John 13:3 He came from God and was going to God.
John 16:28 "came forth from the Father"
Romans 8:3 God sent His own Son.
2 Corinthians 8:9 though He was rich, He became poor.
Galatians 4:4 God sent forth His Son.
Eternal
Micah 5:2 The Messiah is from eternity.
John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." Though, it's debatable whether the Word being God implies eternality (cf John 10:34-35; 2 Peter 1:4).
John 8:56-58 "I AM" referring to Exodus 3:14
Hebrews 5:6,10; 7:3,16,21 Melchizedek — no beginning of days. Jesus Christ was made a priest "according to the order of Melchizedek". Jesus has come "according to the power of an endless life". "Remains a priest continually".
1 John 1:2 …that eternal life that was with the Father…
Revelation 1:8,11-18; 2:8; 21:6; 22:13 Alpha and Omega, First and Last, Beginning and End. Refer to Isaiah 41:4; 43:10-11; 44:6.
