However science has a very good track record of discovery, far better than religion. Trusting that science with find the truth doesn't require any faith, just appreciation of the efforts of many dedicated scientists and the knowledge that they are on the job.

Christianity does have a great conflict with secular humanism however, and the essence of my original article was that evolution and its related statements on origins seems heavily influenced by secular humanism.
